Which skills and competencies do employers look for in college graduates?
Based on a national survey of American and international employers, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), put together a list, of which these are the top ten. Notice that one can develop these skills in a wide variety of majors.
If you major in a humanities or liberal arts discipline, the trick will be to learn how to identify and articulate examples of these skills in your academic and applied work (internships) so that they resonate with employers.
